My YouTube Channel

While I was in in-patient rehab, I searched for a story I could relate to, someone with a similar lung condition and limb loss who had gone on to achieve meaningful athletic goals. I wanted proof that it was possible. Easy to find, no? I couldn’t find anything.

So I decided to create it myself.

When I left the hospital, I didn’t know if I’d ever stand on a board again. What I did know was that the process… attempts, setbacks, and small wins… was worth showing regardless of success. My channel exists to show that journey honestly, from the earliest days of recovery to where I am now.

Below are two videos from the channel. On the left is a recent video, and on the right is my very first vlog. The production of that first video is admittedly rough. It was early in both my recovery and my filmmaking, but it documents a raw moment in time and shows the reality of where I was when I left the hospital.
